Toy Fairs in 2012 displayed figures and models of Jet Vac, who at this time was yet unnamed. He became known as Vac Eagle, until the game finally launched and his true name was revealed. Activision must have had a hunch this character was going to be popular, as they decided to put him in the Starter Pack for Skylanders Giants. Skylanders Giants Jet Vac is part of the Starter Pack for Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. the Starter pack for the 3DS, contains Punch Pop Fizz instead of Jet Vac.

Skylanders Giants Jet Vac is actually available in two different versions. There is a regular figure and also a lightcore core. The regular Jet Vac figure is pretty cool. He looks like some sort of blue eagle creature with a giant vacuuming machine as his weapon. The figure stands on a pedestal of blue clouds, identifying him a s an Air Element Skylander.

The Lightcore version of Skylanders Giants Jet Vac has a a slightly different pose. Lightcore technology is new to the Giants game. LightCore Jet Vac will light up when placed near or on the Portal of Power, which is a really awesome feature. This is powered by the Portal of Power, and does not require batteries.

Legendary Jet Vac

The legendary version is slightly different, in that his feathers are a darker blue color and his armor and weapon are gold . He looks a pretty cool figure.

Skylanders Giants Jet Vac comes from the area of Skylands called Windham, and he is an Air Baron. Air Barons, by tradition, are given a set of magical wings when they are young.However, one day his homeland was raided, and the brave Jet Vac gave his wings to a young mother so she could fly her children to safety.

This was a very noble act and when Eon heard of this brave deed, he decided to give Jet Vac a gift: a powerful vacuum device that would allow him to fly again. The grateful Sky Baron the decided to become a Skylander, and help fight evil in the Skylands.
